Ages 7–9 | Everyone Jiu Jitsu programs

Little Champs BJJ

Little Champs is designed for children ages 7 to 9 who are ready for more technical practice, partner work and a steady routine on the mats.

About the program

Kids can do more than they think.

At this age, children often want to know why a technique works. They have questions, they want to try things for themselves and they notice when a movement finally starts to feel natural.

Little Champs gives students a chance to learn positional awareness and practical Jiu-Jitsu skills with partners. The coach sets the pace and helps the group practice safely.

Progress is not only about performing a technique correctly. Being patient with a partner, listening to feedback and choosing to try again also matter.

What students practice

Learn the technique. Enjoy the process.

01

Real technique

Students begin connecting movements, positions and escapes with age-appropriate instruction.

02

Confidence through practice

A new movement can feel difficult at first. Repetition makes it more familiar over time.

03

Respect on the mats

Partner training gives students regular opportunities to take care of each other.

Getting started

A class for children who are growing into the sport.

Some Little Champs students are brand new. Others have trained in younger groups. The class allows children to keep learning at their own pace while being challenged appropriately.

If you are unsure which group fits your child, tell our team their age and experience when requesting a trial.
